        We visited the Pheasant Inn with family in the off chance we could get a table for lunch, to our surprise, we did. The staff, food and price were all perfect. We can not recommend this place highly. It is a must if you are in this area.

        I just ate one of the best meals of my life here. The rump steak with mushroom sauce was amazing, and even the onion rings, which in America are just flavorless pieces of breading, were delicious. On top of everything else, the bill for this giant plate of food and a soda only came to 29 pounds! The outside of the building is gorgeous, and the inside has a historic feel but is very laid back. If I return to the Cotswolds in the future, I'll definitely be back.
