The Mount Inn Stanton

Excellent food in a stunning location. We picked this out without knowing the area as we were travelling on the Gloucester-warwickshire steam train. The setting is beautiful, you drive through a quaint little cotswold village up the hill and there is the pub. It has ample seating outside, big car park and a stunning view. The food was delicious, the roast pork was one of the best I have ever had - the crackling was perfect, soft and Crunchy all at the same time. The apple sauce was also divine. No complaints from my family who were equally pleased with their Roast Beef, Gammon, egg and chips and beef burgers. Pavlova was so tasty, very fresh. Portions are large which we loved The staff serving us were friendly and helpful.
