Visited for the third time yesterday evening at 7.30pm, hoping it would be better than our last visit. Sadly, it wasn't. The pub was almost empty and the very loud music was intrusive and made conversation impossible. We asked for it to be turned down, which it was, slightly, but it was still too loud for our liking. Even the watiress said it was loud but it seemed the manager liked it that way. Our table was near the door to the kitchen and there was much crashing of dishes and cutlery and loud voices coming from there. We ordered from the very friendly waitress but, yet again, as on both previous visits, three items we ordered were not available. No lasagne or halloumi kebab and, upon ordering dessert, no panna cotta. We should have been told when given menus that these items were unavailable, it's really annoying to choose something, order it and then be told it's not available and you have to quickly choose something else. On the plus side, the food was as expected and we enjoyed what we had. The problems outlined are due to poor staff training and could easily be improved. After three visits all with the same issues we don't hold out much hope.

Lovely pub and Tom and staff are always very helpful. Breakfast is a cracking deal. Campsite very clean and an amazing spot

Stopped off for a drink whilst out for a walk. Fabulous pub. Wish we could have stayed for something to eat. Maybe next time we are in the area.
