I just love this restaurant. We live in Scotland, but go out of our way and detour to go here. The staff are amazing. The food is special (if you want chips and a burger, go down the road to McDonalds). I love the oldy decor and setting. Lovely and quiet while eating. Lovely grounds for stroll. Nice wines and food. Conclusion: If you want quality and don't mind the cost - then this is the place for you.

Rooms: Beautifully decorated and lots of original 17th century features, and the original windows in our room were actually still fully operational Food & drinks: Fresh local produce and a fantastic chef.
