Lovely country house with a nice atmosphere and friendly environment. Food could do with some tweaking. We had visited prior to it being sold by Honda and the food was incredible. Hopefully they will find their feet and offer a better menu in the future. Bed was too soft for me but thats my preference. Room was a nice view of the house. Overall I would recommend.

I booked Stanton House for a Baby Shower. I do not live in the area and was unable to visit or plan too much in advance. However, I was completely blown away by how simple Vicky and her team made the preparations for this event for me. The room was beautifully set up, the views of the grounds were beautiful and the staff so wonderful. All information I needed was broken down and explained so I could make decisions based on food, drinks, seating arrangements, flowers and they even offered to assist in setting up the room. The food was phenomenal and the team was so attentive to every single detail. I couldn't be more grateful! The waiters/ waitresses checked on us to ensure there was nothing else they could do, it was truly above and beyond everything I expected it to be. The event went off without a single problem and my guests loved it. Nothing was too much of an ask from the team at Stanton House and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you so much to Vicky, the restaurant team, and the waiters/ waitresses. I will most definitely be throwing some events here in the future!
