The Black Horse

A really lovely pub, service was warm, friendly and helpful. Food excellent- the BLT on brown is to die for. Good value for money it was a great find - well worth a visit

I went for lunch at the Black Horse and sat down in the garden it was quite spacious and there was two football goals at the end. For lunch I had the soup of the day (which was mushroom and loaded fries. The soup was delicious) and was served with a generous 4 large slices of bread. The loaded fries were excellent. As it said in the name the fries were loaded, plenty of bacon, crispy onions, melted cheese and bbq sauce. Over all I think it definitely deserves 5 stars, its well worth a visit if near by.

It is a lovely pub, right off the beaten track. Food was excellent, but we couldn't take our coats off as it was rather cold inside the pub.... no heating!

A wonderful place with helpful staff and a food menu with many dishes for discerning taste buds!
