Other reviews mention that this company 'never replies' to emails or calls. I can confirm this is the case. I ordered a refurbished/replacement PCB, which was delivered, but never used, as other faults on the boiler meant a new boiler is needed. I pointed out in an email (I sent a number) that their package is unopened, still sealed in the UPS wrapping, so obviously unused. My request for a Return number to get a refund has simply been ignored. (Two weeks later, after mentioning 'Consumer Rights' and the Small Claims Court, a return and refund was finally agreed). Very prompt service, supplied a replacement PCB which unfortunately didn't solve the intial issue with the boiler. Gave Kevin a call and we had a really useful chat about possible other causes. He suggested that HT lead may be the problem and sent out a replacement cable together with a second PCB foc (just in case), and am pleased to say that the boiler is working fine now. Highly Recommend Ignite Heating Spares. My usual heating engineer condemned my boiler advising i need a new boiler ! When i investigated myself, i discovered the issue was the PCB board. Unable to obtain a replacement PCB board for Baxi solo2 40 rs boiler as product discontinued ,as i expected and not available anywhere. I called Kevin at Ignite Heating as a last resort, after finding company on internet , in case he had any old stock PCB boards . No joy but Kevin did advise he might be able to repair as he holds spare parts for Baxi PCB boards . I decided it was worth a try even though this would involve a 160 mile round trip ( I could of posted but could not risk PCB board going missing and we would have been without heating for at least a week which was not ideal in this cold spell of December ) . On arrival ,Kevin assessed PCB immediately and advised he could do it there and then ! . Sent me off for an hour and personally replaced some elements of the board . One hour later it was ready and i was on my way home . 2 hours later i had re-installed PCB at home and Boiler has a new lease of life ! In this world of throw away parts , its great to meet people like Kevin and Ignite Heating , who are prepared to offer good old fashioned repairs and service .
