Stanstead Abbotts Dental Practice

I had an appointment today with Anneka. I had a filling. She was amazing, i am a little nervous about injections but she was brilliant. I hardly felt it. Her chair side manner was warm and friendly. A very nice lady and great dentist.

I have been going to this practice since a child and now I take my own children. Always had a great service and today the dental nurse and receptionist were so kind and patient with my six year old when she was upset, they helped her and calmed her down.

Being dental phobic it was a big deal for me when told I needed a filling. I see Mr Dan Lee and I can honestly say I worried about nothing. No pain whatsoever (didn't even feel the injection). He reassured me all the way through. What a lovely man !

Staff are completely incompetent and they will make any excuse to charge you for treatment required. Waited months for an appointment to see the hygienist only to be told on the day that she was too busy. During the checkup I was told that I required two costly fillings. I wasnt completely convinced so got a second opinion, the dental practitioner I saw was clearly offended and said nothing to me on the second appointment apart from offering to clean my teeth as they did not have the hygienist available on the day (even though I booked it months before!?!?) I explained I specifically wanted to see a hygienist as that is what I had booked the days leave for! He was clearly upset and said nothing to encourage me of the treatment required making me feel uncomfortable. He gutlessly slipped out of the door before I was then called and asked to go back, thats when the receptionist told me that he no longer would treat me and that I should find somewhere else to be treated. My mother had treatment on an old crown due to food getting stuck, this joke of a clinic told her to replace it with a costly new one. She still has the same problem! I dont think I have ever walked out of this place without being 100 quid worst off! Stay away from this awful unprofessional outfit!
