Nothing bad to say. We absolutely loved our stay more than we thought we would and, if given the opportunity, we'd come back in a heartbeat! Thank you Freya and to your lovely family for letting us stay in your holiday house.

We stayed at Old Horton Grange while visiting Newcastle for a wedding. We spent 4 days in the house and absolutely loved it! There were 9 of us staying and we never felt cramped at all. There is an abundance of space. The beds were a bit more firm than I'm used to, but weren't squeaky at all. There's a music room with 2 guitars, a piano and drums that were so much fun. A total of 3 living rooms for our lounging pleasures, although we primarily used the biggest one off of the living room that had a nice wood burning stove. The aga stove was pretty awesome. It stays on all the time and kicks off quite a bit of heat. It was a bit of an adjustment to cook on, but my mom nailed it within 2 days. The kitchen has a breakfast nook and theres a separate dining room that sits 10 if I recall. We would most definitely stay again. We loved it so so much!
