Since taking over from an extremely poorly performing property management company, Sterling have done an excellent job of managing our block of apartments. Due to poor construction, a number of issues have arisen and these have all been addressed in a competent and professional manner. We are very happy with the quality and standard of day to day management and would highly recommend them.

Update: continued poor service and time wasting from SEM. They seem so eager to fob you off in emails that they don't pay any regard at all to whether what they're saying makes sense or is true. As a leaseholder in an apartment building SEM are contracted to "manage", they are unresponsive to queries and incapable of giving full and honest answers. Nothing is ever simple and nothing ever gets handled in a timely professional manner. Sick and tired of being fobbed off and given the run around. Email queries go unanswered. Demands for money arrive with little to no explanation to accompany them. Many people in the residents committee very unhappy with poor level of service, nothing ever seems to change though clearly this is just the standard one can expect of SEM.

Sadly due to their miss management I have been unable to remortgage my flat and now cannot sell it along with anyone else in my block as the ESW1 form signed off has been deemed invalid by 9 banks. I have lost 18k over 18 months now and nothing has been done. Service charges have also gone up and up yet service levels have dropped completely. Avoid Avoid Avoid

We had a problem earlier this year with water leaking into our ceiling from the flat above us. I would very much like to thank Stephanie again for her help to resolve the issue, which involved liaising with the owners of the respective flat. She followed up with the entire process in making sure the source of the leak was addressed and facilitating the subsequent repair work to our ceiling. She was always available to discuss the progress and took timely actions when necessary.
