Bar Manager is incredibly rude! My in laws have been visiting this venue weekly for almost a year, I have joined them on many occasions. Today when my mother in law wanted to cancel a couple of people off as my sister is now working Christmas Day ( shes a nurse! ) the bar manager got incredibly rude and aggressive towards her. Called her a very rude offensive name! And told her to get out of her pub! If you can call ahead and see what day shes working Id avoid them days! Ruins a lovely little place!

Friday 17th March. We hadn't booked a table as all the other times at 5.30pm it was very quiet. The restaurant was completely empty. A woman was sitting at the far end. We asked for a table for 4, the woman who I assumed was the "waitress" asked if we had booked, then proceeded to inform us in a very agitated manner that a table of 10 people were coming in. The tables were not set, which she said was because a "load of lads had come in prior", but they would be set up. Her manner was begining to verge on aggression, she returned to her seat, so we just left. This woman is certainly not suited to the Hospitality Industry with that kind of attitude! The strange thing is, had we booked we would have "got in", despite the large party coming in......doesn't make sense to me. Shame a restaurant is unable to accommodate for more than 10 people.
