Mr Raza is incredibly professional and empathetic. He put me at ease immediately. I travelled from abroad to have him carry out my procedure and I am so glad I did; everything went very smoothly. It is evident he is a leading specialist in this field.

Ladies, if you have ANY gynae-like issues or concerns, please get a consultation with Mr Raza. If, like me, you have had negative experiences with Gynae doctors and you are terrified of going somewhere else to get a second opinion, I promise that Mr Raza will be completely different. Before finding Mr Raza on google, I was at my wits end after having two major surgeries to remove a 7cm and 8cm ovarian cyst and then a further two hospital admissions where I was in agony just to be told Well, youre constipated. Take these laxatives or Endometriosis is chronic. Your bowels are adhered to your uterus but there is nothing that can be done to fix it. I was in so much pain. My periods were unbelievably heavy. I was trying for my first child but having intercourse was excruciating. I couldnt eat or drink without cramping. I really had no quality of life. From the moment I sat down at my initial consultation, I knew I would be in expert hands. Mr Raza has a very calming presence and allowed me to explain my history, symptoms, etc. without any interruptions. Even during the non-Endo related topics, such as my infertility and Mental Health, he was incredibly kind and wasnt dismissive of them. The consultation included an internal examination and ultrasound. Mr Raza explained everything he saw and felt in non-medical jargon, even turning the ultrasound screen to face me. The same applied after I had an MRI - Mr Raza pulled up my images and went through them showing me what he was looking for and what he found. I then received the written reports so I could re-read what was discussed. For me, this is exactly how I wanted to be treated. Its reassuring and made me feel completely validated, knowing precisely what was causing me so much pain. Even if Mr Raza had said there was nothing he could do, I would have accepted that as it would have been fully explained. Thankfully, Mr Raza COULD do something. I had laparoscopic robotic surgery and at my 1-week post-surgery consultation, he showed me videos taken during the surgery (at my request) and again, explained exactly what he was looking for and what he did. It was fascinating to see and watch him work. The amount of Endometriosis removed was staggering. I will also be having 6-monthly check-ups for monitoring. My experience with Mr Raza has been a dream come true. It has been life-changing. I will forever be truly grateful for everything Mr Raza has done for me. In addition, Mr Razas PA, Sukhy Kaur, is so incredibly helpful and kind. She was always in constant contact and anytime I needed anything, she got back to me straight away.

I had robotic excision surgery for endometriosis with Mr Raza alongside a colorectal surgeon Mr Celentano at the Cromwell who was also brilliant. Im now 6 months post op and feel amazing! Im so grateful I found Mr Raza, he is incredibly knowledgable and supported me to approach my endometriosis holistically alongside the surgery. Sukhy made the whole process of booking appointments etc seamless. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Raza! Thank you again for everything!

I had not such a good experience due to inadequate post surgery follow up. I had a Lapascopy surgery booked in at Chelsea Westminister hospital at 2pm, I was called at 8:30am and told I must come in at 9am or when I can get in. This was very stressful because the laprosocopy surgery I was going to have required general anaesthetic and I felt very rushed, and quite unsure about having surgery, because rushing surgery can lead to errors. When I arrived at Chelsea Westminister Hospital I was rushed in and my mother was there, and she was worried, as it seemed that patients were being rushed around in terms of operations even though they had been waiting perhaps months like me to have the operation. After the operation, I had less than a few hours to sit down in the hospital, then I was told to leave. I could feel the stitches in three areas of my stomach and womb area pulling and I was bleeding out of the incisions, and I could hardly walk. I got into the taxi and got home, and I was in a lot of pain. Chelsea Westminster Hospital and the NHS casually call this a procedure in the UK but in Australia they call it surgery and you stay at hospital for one night to recover so that there are no issues further down the track. I still have a lot of pain from where one of the incisions was made for the surgery and this was just over 3 years ago and I have now stomach issues due to this. I tried to get a follow up appointment and I did with another specialist who works with Dr Raza and they basically ignored what I had to say and really did nothing in the consultation, they did not even do a thorough physical examination. In Australia the specialist who does the surgery sees you after the surgery to follow up on their work which I thought was professional practice but this did not happen for me in the case of Dr Raza who was the surgeon for my surgery, I received no follow up directly from him. This possibly could be because so many surgeries are being rushed through Dr Raza cannot follow up on their work, which is concerning. I had ultrasounds over a year through the team with Dr Raza, and they said they could not find anything even though I had a lot of pain in the incision area which I did not have before surgery. I still have pain in that area. I will now be getting a second opinion from a private gynaecology medico-legal expert outside of Dr Raza's team and associates.
