Red flags... but the smoothie was good. I had the Green Goddess (kale, pineapple, kiwi, green spirulina, and ginger) for 6.25. This was easily the most expensive smoothie I have ever purchased and while it was good (thick, deep forest green, etc) a few things put me off. Firstly, I sat down and took out my computer to do some work and when my smoothie was ready the lady called me to come and get it. For the price and the fact that I was no more than 3 meters away, it would have been a nice gesture to have brought it to the table. Okay perhaps I'm nit-picking, but there is more. The smoothie comes in a plastic cup... for such a health conscious brand you'd think for both the sake of the environment and to avoid toxins which can leak into drinks from plastic they would serve in a glass mason jar or something... but there is more! Something about this smoothie is too good, if you have ever made a raw smoothie with kale you'll know what I mean, there were no bits of kale to be seen, which makes me think there was little kale involved and the deep green colour came from the green spirulina. I also have no idea if the spirulina was high grade or otherwise. In summary, I'm not sure the smoothie was really about the health benefits of raw food anymore than a place like Joe and the Juice. Regarding my experience in-store, the staff were playing the radio, a very tinny radio that was audible over my headphones, I asked them if they could turn it down a bit and the lady working said that there was going to be a lot of noise from boxes etc, as an excuse for the awful radio. I don't know, but this definitely killed my Zen, or that might have just been the plastic leeching into my bloodstream and making me cranky? I took a look at the website and read the owner's bio, when I say if THAT doesn't put you off I don't know what will. There's a story about her losing her millions as a lawyer and then making a success with Nosh (which is primarily a juice cleanse/diet company I came to discover). Somehow that capitalist success is linked to her spiritual revolution but to me it just sounded like the owner is a smart cookie who is good at making money and at all not desperately interested in or dedicated to health... but I digress. All in all, the smoothie wasn't bad but for the price and lack-lustre in-store experience I wish I had just spent the money on a fruit basket and made my own, that way I would be sure I was getting the real deal sans the micro-plastics, tinny radio music, less than courteous staff and the relocation of my resources to yet another filthy rich business owner who probably cares nought about my health nor the environment.

The clinic was spotlessly clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the nurse was kind and gentle. I had a Digestion Injection, which is a cocktail of all the important vitamins that I wanted. I did feel a slight scratch as she put the injection into my bottom cheek, (I am told it is different for everyone) but that was about all, the nurse is so very gentle when she does it. The next day, I had so much more energy, felt less bloated and so wide awake, yet when I went to bed at night, I slept like a log. Two days later, at home, I booked and paid in full for my next two treatments, if that is not a good enough recommendation, I dont know what is!! Thank you Nosh detox, you made me feel great.
