        We were staying at the adjoining Hotel52 and we decided, instead of looking for a country pub, we would order a Sunday lunch. Rustic Stanley is a separate restaurant even though it is attached to the hotel. The hotel is excellent but the restaurant fell short on the Sunday lunch as it was served with two burnt Yorkshire puddings and charred parsnips, the roast potatoes were tiny small potatoes like you get in a tin and maybe fried in a chip pan, tinned carrots, frozen sprouts and luke warm gravy. The only good thing on the plate was the pork. No apple sauce or stuffing? Overall it was disgusting.
