Cannot recommend them highly enough. Charles Bonas has very kindly advised pro bono my goddaughter, who is preparing to come to the UK on the Homes for Ukraine scheme. The academically bright 16-year old was not planning on getting British education; the move was a necessity because of Russian invasion. Charles established her academic level according to UK curriculum, explained the differences in the secondary school systems and how to select A-levels well for university (which was the opposite of what we initially assumed and was invaluable advice), and helped get our head around many other key things we did not know. The difference between Bonas MacFarlane and a few other advisers I heard about from my friends is this: some advisers are oriented towards the parents who live in countries like Ukraine, Kazakhstan etc, for whom getting kids educated in an English school is the end goal and who decide based on the school building's architecture rather than academic results. Charles is oriented towards the student and their future. He knows which school choices are right for the student and which are not, even if they are good establishments. His priority is getting academic results which would take a student to the best university for their ability, and he gets into specifics of how to achieve that. After a few weeks of work with Charles and his colleagues, my goddaughter was able to get a full scholarship from a well-respected independent school. It was an incredible result, I am still speechless. Dear Charles, Harry and colleagues - you are the best!

I would warmly recommend the online tutoring services Bonas MacFarlane provides. With the support of an excellent tutor, James Frome, my son just graduated with final results well above expectations (AP level). During the past 18 months, James supervised Magnus homework, kept him on task, provided support where needed and ensured timely submission of quality products. On an almost daily basis, he coached him, mentored him, inspired him with a mix of tools ranging from supportive whats app messages to phone calls, and supported him with full-fledged tutoring sessions. He helped Magnus grow, not just academically but also in terms of his self-confidence. I have nothing but the highest praise for his 'tough but loving' approach, his perseverance, and the excellent quality of his tutoring.

We just wanted to drop you a note to thank everyone involved with Camp Bonas. Coming at the end of a long academic year, cancelled holidays and school trips and virtual school the opportunity to spend time with a wide age range of children in the countryside without screens was really welcomed. Despite Z's reservations about girls and younger children being in the same camp he found the experience rewarding, refreshing and particularly enriching because of the leadership opportunities being an older child on the trip afforded him. He has clearly made several good friends and has a new found confidence for which we are very grateful. Going on a residential trip outside of school clearly has many benefits that are perhaps overlooked.

Bonas MacFarlane have been invaluable, helping our family over the years as we have been overseas needing to return to the British educational system.
