Lovely station. However we went on the afternoon tea train and the 60s music was ridiculously loud. Coffee was weak and there was no drink services at all in the return journey. 30 it cost per head so it could have been a lot better. Train was also delayed by broken down train so the whole journey took nearly 3 hours to finish. Huge headache afterwards!!!

Just had a nice cappuccino there, my partner had a hot chocolate, no complaints, the member of staff served us was very polite she was cheerful, very helpful, we sat outside at a table, very clean place!

Great experience at The Train to Christmas Town. Parking was well organised, tickets were sorted quickly for smooth boarding. Bit of a mix up with seating, as we were told we had the whole end of the carriage but then other people had been allocated seats there so had to do a bit of swapping to make sure individual families could sit together. The carriages are a bit outdated and could do with a little TLC, but were clean and comfortable. We loved the option of buying an activity pack for kids, but at 15 per pack I'm glad our kids were too young to ask for one! Our little boy loved seeing Santa and getting his bell, so thank you for making his first proper Christmas magical!

Loved it. Friendly staff both in the cafe and on the platform. Liked the seating area on the platform at the cafe.
