        While I did not actually go to the town hall!!! I did in December 2018 while out with my walking group, finish a wonderful walk in Stanhope which is a town in Bishop Auckland. It was the first time I had been there I had heard about it. With me living in Newcastle it was not too far away which was good. I quite liked Stanhope it looks a town that (while we did not have much time there) that would certainly merit a 2nd visit.
