As a leader of Thurrock Christian Fellowship we have never heard or met Roop Dal who appears to come from Hull in East Yorkshire some 205 miles away. His rant below has nothing to do with our Church. Please ignore whilst we ask Google to remove. Thank you.

Since the '80s those running this church have had delusions of grandeur. They speak about 'taking the land' in terms of Christiansw running the country. As we have seen over the past 35 or more years, Britain is more godless and anti-Christian than it has ever been. How has this moral and spiritual decay occurred? Simple answer, Restorationist Pentecostalists like this church tried to 'take the land' in their own power, not through God's. The end result is a nation which is as decadent and perverse as Sodom and Gomorrah. In the 80s this church followed the heretical teacing of the New Israel. This is completely unscriptural. The Scriptures state that God will never abandon his first love, the Jewish people. This is another reason this, and such churches have not prospered. Let's hope this cankered teaching has changed. Back in the eighties this church tirelessly pursued church members for tithing, inclouding harassing home visits. The money was often used to finance foreign trips for those running the church. is this still the case? Hopefully not. I daresay there are genuine, good, decent people who attend this church and serve God and others to the best of their ability. Knowing current Pentecostal/Charismatic churches though, there's always s tendency for them to be money-grabbing, and hostile to the Jews. The latter is disturbing and hypocritical as they claim to follow a Jew. Pentecostal/Charismatics move in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have seen people healed by God at this church in the past, which is a truly wonderful, beautiful thing. This is scriptural and a good example to those churches which, sadly, stifle the Spirit due to heretical beliefs and fear. That said, Pentecostals/Charismatics would do well also to practice the Fruits of the Spirit, and to care for those in spiritual, emotional, social and financial need. After all, the New Testament says Christians must give priority of care to orphans and widows.
