Sue Hurst Cake Design - Luxury Wedding Cakes Essex

We were lucky enough to find Sue to make our wedding cake. Our vision was a cake and macarons and after going through about 8 different wedding cake makers it seemed to be an impossible combination! The skill of making amazing macarons and wedding cakes was hard to find until we found Sue Hurst Cake Design. We did all our cake designing over the phone thanks to Covid, but Sue interpreted what we wanted and had so many options of flavours for both the cake and the macarons that we were spoilt for choice. Sue also worked directly with our florist to discuss requirements for the flowers on the cake, taking a job away from us. As for the final product put simply WOW! It looked stunning, the colours matched our scheme perfectly and when it came to eating both the macarons and cake it tastes even better than it looked which was amazing. The cake was light, fluffy and delicious and all the macaron flavours were sensational. If you want something delicious and stunning to look at then Sue is the women for you. We will defiantly be making up any excuse possible to get more cakes and macarons from Sue!

Sue is absolutely incredible, cannot fault our experience with her and what she delivered from start to finish was absolutely stunning. She considers every single detail from aspect of flavour to design and created the most beautiful cake we've ever seen. It was delicious! Thank you Sue :)

Cannot recommend Sue enough for her service. Sue designed a gorgeous cookie dough cake for my mums 60th party and it was the cake of dreams! Highly recommend a cookie dough cake if youve not tried one yet! Sue made sure the colours fit perfectly with the colour scheme of the party, and came early to the party to arrange the cake on the table with the added touch of real flowers. The service was so very professional with Sue keeping me updated with the designs of the cake and sent me sketches to check I was happy with the final look prior to it being made. The cake was delicious and really looked the part on the day. Thank you so much Sue xx

Beautiful cake designed and created by Sue at very short notice. Sue was always available to discuss ideas, sent through a lovely taster box (which was very useful as we went with flavours we did not think we would go with!). The cake was delivered and setup on time on the day. Sue very kindly allowed us extra time to return the cake stand aswell. Overall excellent experience working with Sue! :)

Our wedding cake was incredible. So much flavour. Her service was so professional, from tasting sessions, to designs, imagery and social media. Caused no issues, and cannot recommended her enough. So many good things said about our cake, and I encourage everybody to use her!
