        Why is the courthouse boarded up

        Very disappointing, no ales at all on tap ,just basic lagers .bottled ale only .not a place for a beer drinker !.locals rule the roost with the bat staff .we wouldn't visit again.

        Got stuck in Stanford due to trains popped in to have a drink whilst we waited in what looked like the main bar area that was a typical old pub. it was very quiet. No body came to serve us for about 10 minutes so we left.
