Rather than making a comment myself, I will leave that to the Vale of the White Horses Conservation and Design Officer who describes the work undertaken by ANG Roofing as follows:
"I have some concerns regarding the workmanship and quality of work undertaken to date.
It is clear from site photos that there is a large hole in lead valley gutter under downpipe and flashing attached to listed building also goes under valley lead, which will allow water in to the fabric. The work is also very scruffy when viewed from the neighbouring listed building.
As such the works will not preserve the historic fabric, character or special interest of listed building."
