Now a coffee shop rather than a pub, the food is excellent, as was the young lady running front of house. Its still got that cosy pub ambience, especially in the winter when the wood burner is fired up, but it suits the high-end coffee emporium idea really rather well. Random suggestion: would it be possible to put scones on the menu as well as the tea cake? It would also give the option to make up an afternoon tea affair from elements already on the menu. Pro tip: find a spot near the fire and chill. The food service wasnt the absolute fastest (but it was OK!) as there seems to be a huge shortage of staff to work in the hospitality industry post-COVID. Your best bet is to order drinks, sit back and relax

Smashing place. Out in the sticks but worth the drive to get there. Has ample parking and a recently outfitted childrens area. A cosy atmosphere created by the log burner fireplace is complimented by a good menu and great wine selection. The food is presented well and taste great. The mobile signal is weak but the pub does have free wi-fi available. The children are well catered for with a choice of activities, childrens menu and good selection of toys in their own area.
