        Such a cool shop. Really lovely staff were very helpful when making my purchase, advising on bulbs etc. Will be back!

        What wonderful, helpful staff. Was moving my daughter and needed a piece of rope, buildbase had shut 20 minutes previously so I faced a walk to the centre of Stamford. I went on the off chance they had a something I could buy to save me the walk. The very helpful young lady hadn't anything but looked under the till and found a cable (which happened to be exactly the right length when I got it to the car) she refused to take any payment. This wonderful person really made my day. I hope she had a successful weekend if sales. I am sending a very big thank you

        Excellent shop with old and new treasures combined. Drove passed in the car and had to stop, it's a gem of a place and we'll be making a point to visit when back in Stamford again. Staff were very helpful too, thanks guys!
