Richardsons Cycles (Stamford)

I promise to write Simon a review after a recently looked after me on my Winter Road bike. Within the space of a couple of days Simon took the bike in gave it a once over and mini service and the bike is running as smoothly as it did on the day I bought it. Simon is, quite simply, Richardsons cycles. If he ever decides to leave, that place is in serious trouble. He is a font of knowledge in all things cycling mechanics and can advise on what works best with what, together with the stuff that YouTube videos dont tell you. Hes also not afraid of advising against buying the most expensive if he thinks you wont need it. I think I echo most customers by saying that the shop is THE go-to for local repairs and to buy consumables when you suddenly realise you have no spare for the Sunday club run.. I suspect serious bikies would go elsewhere to splash out on a new bike. We should crowdfund a project to buy out the owner and turn the shop into a bike riders hangout - cafe/small spares shop and proper FO repair workshop where dudes and girlies can hang out and talk about and view some bike porn Just what staid Stamford needs imho..

I have an E bike and wanted the lights activating on the Bosch system. The retailer that I bought it from didnt want to help. I found Richardson Cycles on the Bosch app and couldnt be more pleased that I did. Simon was very helpful knowledgeable and most of all got the job done. I cant recommend enough we need to support the smaller bike local shops where we can get good service and not have to rely on big bike chains who dont care.
