They checked my car for the right parts to order for a roof rack to be fitted today, waited a while for the parts to arrive and on top of that a date for the fitting. Today was a waste of time because the wrong part ended up being ordered. Disappointed id have had to wait again for the correct parts to arrive / a new fitting date. Just such an inconvenience and spoils plans. Might not have seemed a big deal to the halfords workers but to me it feels a mess about that attention to detail on ordering parts didn't happen especially when coming out to check the car first.

Terrible customer service and in store experience from Halfords Stamford. Avoid at all costs. Staff unhelpful and surly. I placed a 'click and collect' order only to have to stand around waiting and waiting as there were two staff members in store and two customers (including me). One staff member was at the counter at the back of the store serving the ONLY other customer there and the second staff member at the front of the store couldn't serve me as he 'isnt allowed' to leave the front desk. When I asked why I was standing around waiting when this staff member wasn't doing anything I was told I could leave and come back !! Two staff, two customers - why should I leave and come back ? Absolutely ridiculous. No wonder the high street is doomed - there is no such thing as customer service. Thanks Halfords - no longer a customer based on this poor, poor effort, policy and attitude.
