I was in the new Epsom and Ewell Cottage hospital, had use of the poplars gym, and made use of the wheelchair service all through CSH. My stay at the hospital was from January 12th-2nd June with the neurological rehabilitation team. My stay was particularly lengthy, but nonetheless could not have been with a better bunch of people. Particularly thanks to my physiotherapy and OT helpers, with whom I've managed to prove everyone wrong and walk again, and to all the very hard work the nursing staff do to support that being possible. I'd like to mention a few names, but I am bound to leave someone out. I owe so much to all the folks there, but particularly want to mention Pippa for always making things work, Mary for always being approachable and kind, Liz,Helen, Shirley, Christina,Minda & Jacob for always being diligent, compassionate dedicated. Margaret , Delia , and Christine for always going the extra mile, and making things comfortable. Also to Urmilla, Luisa and Deris, for never letting me slack and always encouraging me to work to the very best of my ability. I'm so grateful to you all, there's just too many to list!As mentioned my physiotherapy team , mainly Hannah, Charlotte, Steph, Zoe and Carolyn and the OT s Amy, Deris, David, Deris, and Freya {student}, have all worked tirelessly with me to regain what I can through rehabilitation- they're literally miracle workers EVERY ONE OF YOU! I'd also like to thank Anthea and Lavinia @ EGH, with out your encouragement to attend rehabilitation-I wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am today. I'm so grateful for everyone, and input into this epic journey. The only issue I had whilst at NEECH, was in the circumstances surrounding me being on HRT. Everyone was great about my physical washing and dressing, but when it came to having HRT at NEECH, it was very rushed and wrongly located in site, which presumably is the case with much of the elderly also. All in all though, I'd say my CSH experience has been very positive. Thank you all so much. You have my utmost respect
