It used to be BP but supposedly switched to ESSO but Euro Garage has taken on the site now and it is supposed to be running under the ESSO brand and so it shows as a garage that participates in Nectar points.
However, when I visited and filled up my vehicle, the points did not show on the receipt, nor did the July promotion that was running (which encourages you to use an ESSO garage). When I queried this the cashier immediately said the points don't show on the receipts anymore. This turned out to be a lie.
Almost a month later, after Nectar confirmed that the garage is participating and the Nectar points and promo entry should have reflected on the receipt I have been passed pillar to post and still do not have the points.
With the cashier telling lies to avoid having to sort out the mistake + the runaround trying to get the points added and feeling I was duped into using a garage I didn't use normally I will be looking into alternative points systems. I wonder how many other Nectar point collectors have been duped by this garage?
