Me and my partner booked to stay here very minute, about 2 hours before we arrived, we arrived a little late which was no bother to the staff at all. They were very helpful, they showed us where we were staying, how to heat the hot tub up and where the toilets where nearby. The room was nice and cosy, very clean, we managed to get the hot tub working. We enjoyed visiting the farm animals, and just taking a stroll around the area, definitely be back! Safety: We felt very safe whilst on site, our pod was very private.

We just spent three nights in a bell tent with logburner. Two of those nights included Storm Noa so you can imagine the strength of the wind! But the tents are securely pitched so they stood up well, and the logburner kept us warm, even if the noise kept us awake! The shower and toilet block was a minute or two away and has heating and lighting. Showers were hot and powerful, and controlled by a push button. The play area was fun for the two younger children, definitely aimed at 4+ rather than younger ones. Don't do expecting the full glamping experience though. You get exactly what the website describes: a made up bed, sponge fold up chair beds, a shelf unit/table and fairy lights inside the tent, and a fire pit (which you could cook on if needed) and wooden chairs outside. But you don't get any other cooking facilities, plates, pans, kettle etc, or a cool box. We were fine with this because we brought our own but it is something to be aware of if you have done glamping elsewhere with more facilities. The bell tents are under trees so have the appearance of being quite dirty on the outside although that is staining from the tree sap etc, not mould. There is no way they would have stood up to the strong winds and heavy rain we had if they were not well maintained. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would stay again if we were in the area.

We could have had a much better experience than we did. When we arrived, we were told that the pipes had frozen and there was no water facilities whatsoever, including toilets. No shower wouldn't have been a problem but having 4 children with us, 3 young, having no toilet was an issue. We were (after saying we couldn't stay with no toilet) provided with a portaloo which was better than nothing but just wish we had been made aware of the no working toilets issue before we set off and had the option to reschedule the date to come. Also took a month to get our deposit back.
