Visited this express on foot whilst on Holiday with my sister getting a latte. I'm waiting outside the store door no where near a feul pump and some rude old lady worker comes out with attitude, not asking me but telling me to not use my phone. After challenging her 3 times why I couldn't, she wouldn't tell me and just kept repeating herself 'you can't use your phone on the forecourt'. the sign says don't use when feulling and its on the fuel pumps where you can only read if your a driver. I didn't even have a car and standing outside the shop door not by a pump or activated nozzle. Had a bit off a to-do with this old lady with attitude, who still refused to explain why, and left. I have been advised over the phone that you can use it in certain areas of the forecourt but not by the nozzle ot activated pump. I was standing outside the shop door!When I called the manager she wasn't great at first saying ' I don't understand your problem as you have left the store now,' and kept repeating you can't use it on the forecourt. She apologised for me being spoken to by the old women. I tried to educate her about the forecourt rule but she was adamant so will take it further so other foot travelling people won't get bullied again!
