Well placed for visiting the small seaside villages along the coastline or a trip further afield. Newcastle etc to the north. Whitby and Scarborough to the south or even Flamingo Land and York to the west all in around an hour or so. The Peeler's Rest has all that is required to self cater, or there are plenty of options for eating out. I would highly recommend a break at Peeler's Rest.
