Lovely cottage with everything you need to stay there

Stayed here for a week in July with my daughter, her husband, my two young grandchildren and a friend. This is a lovely quaint cottage built on 3 storeys, nicely furnished and well-equipped. It was a real bonus to have a parking space in Staithes and also access to a lovely garden. The downstairs space is snug and the kitchen small but with everything you need. The bedrooms are lovely and bright although you need to be fit enough to climb the stairs. I'm 64 and I managed fine! A seagull was nesting on the roof outside the first floor landing window, raising her 2 chicks, and we loved watching them. Staithes is a great base for exploring this part of the coastline and we roamed up and down as there's so much to see and do. It was lovely to come back to the peace and tranquility of the cottage at the end of each day. My 3 year old granddaughter loved catching crabs off the harbour in Staithes and exploring the rockpools. Loads of games to play in the cottage as well. Highly recommended and we would come back again.
