This is a very basic site. Facilities include a water tap, mens loo, ladies loo and pitches. As a backpacker on the Cleveland Way it was ideal especially for just a fiver Some beautiful and friendly farm cats lurk about which is a bonus. Shouldn't give 5 stars because it's so basic but I had the place to myself and had the most peaceful nights sleep outside of a remote wild camp.

Could do with a bit of TLC. No toilet paper in the very basic toilet block that smells a bit dodgy. For 15 for a van a shower would be good

A very basic camping experience but perfectly OK if your between stages on the Cleveland way. There's water and a toilet. ( make sure you've got some loo roll). The owners are very helpful and pleasant. It's a working farm so be prepared for some old Mcdonald overtures early morning. If your walking the Cleveland way then the Campsite is best approached by walking up the path from coast to the Ravenscar tea rooms. If you look to the south or opposite tea rooms there's a track called cinder track. Head for this and then walk up loring Rd to the end and turn left and the farm is 5 minutes away on the left. If you miss this it can be approached from church road but this is a big detour.

This is a lovely campsite, beautiful views and the friendliest of owners. We love the fact that me and my daughter have been there and had the opportunity to feed brand new baby lambs whilst we've enjoyed caravanning there. We will keep coming back here and can highly recommend to those who love to be stay in quiet and natural surroundings
