        Myself and my wife booked a rink at this indoor bowls centre. This was Thursday 22 September. The lady on the reception was very friendly and helpful on the phone and when we arrived. This changed when we started bowling. The other 5 rinks were occupied by many male bowlers. Not one person acknowledged us during our 2 hours of bowling. Not sure if it was because one of us was a female. or maybe they were just plain rude?

        to officious for me. " To late we have cashed up ". not the kind of thing people expect nowadays. reminded me of working men's club door men. was a very good exercise on loosing potential members. i handed my membership form back to reception who were nice people. helpful and some leeway would go along way. i would have become a member but i don't need officious people in my life.
