Cash-only. Free WiFi and chilled bottled water. 15gbp for a trim. Great cut with attention to details. Barber even took time to use razor to create a very clean contour at the back and on the sides of the head. The chair is pretty comfy as well.

My experience today with one of the barbers was atrocious. From the very first moment I walked in and I greeted him he barely opened his mouth to greet me back. I explained to him what haircut I wanted as it was the second time I visited that barber shop. As I am not the most experienced in this professions jargon I showed him some pictures of previous haircuts so as he can have an idea of what I was looking for. Regardless of the fact that he was sullen and distant the whole entire time he was doing his thing, every time I wanted to make sure that all was okay or to ask him some questions regarding my haircut he was looking upset and bothered. I decided to let it go in the beginning as I didnt want to pay too much attention on that. At some point he asked me if I wanted to have my beard trimmed and I told him that I dont by thanking him. At the end when I asked him to trim my neck a bit higher he looked upset , and his voice tone was quite abrupt. Again I didnt say anything. Lastly, when we finished I politely asked him if he could trim my sideburns as normally this is what the barbers do in the end by my experience. At that moment, he replied brother, I asked you earlier and you said no , now you want ? I then explained to him that in the beginning I understood that he meant the whole beard thats why I said no. Then, I couldnt hold it anymore and I politely asked him why he was behaving like that being abrupt and rude. Then another guy who was his colleague intervened and told me that as long as u are happy with his haircut theres no point of magnifying the incident. I told him that I can find nice haircuts elsewhere too and that was not the point . Being professional and polite in combination with your good job skills make the big difference. I dont know why but I firmly believe that people there should take customer services courses as the way they treat the customers is inexcusable. They didnt even apologise for their poor behaviour both the guy who cut my hair plus the other guy who was trying to cover his incompetence by saying that we all have problems and sometimes we make mistakes. I work for customer services and I have never EVER delivered this service to my clients/customers. I will never visit them again and of course I DONT recommend it.
