        my group was a table of four when we arrived after waiting around the door for five minutes because the staff was standing around the bar chatting away amongst themselves, before coming over to assist us to a table. the lady who served us was very polite, she came to take our orders we asked for bottomless drinks to be told we couldn't have them asked for a draught lager was also told we couldn't have it to no reason given to why we couldn't. our waitress then gave us salad bowls we went over to the salad bar and the salad was wilted and not looking very pleasant the bread rolls was stail, starters were very basic , our mains were okay and fine. when waiting for our desserts one of the managers walked past us with his hand down his trousers then went to handle food this is very unhygienic please train your staff to not do this front of house and to wash there hands.

        The restaurant has a scruffy handwritten sign on the door saying bookings only due to staff shortage, they had no spitroast chicken or gammon. Tables sticky didn't get cleared when we finished, rubbish on the floor uncleared tables .....
