Okay, I went here a few years ago now; but I mean it when I say it was probably the worst years of my life. Have they had a complete rebranding over the fiasco that was the head master RANDOMLY just vanishing without a word? Yeah! But I don't know how much has truly changed. The uniforms were bank breakers - the need for a different tie on your LAST YEAR or you get detention every day until you spent the 40 to get one? Wild. Classism from certain teachers, Art being extremely underfunded and almost removed from the selection of options when you had hit year 9... Even with options, I had to BEG to be allowed into history because they didn't even let me chose it myself even though I was doing well in it, turns out certain sets could only make certain choices with whole curriculums just wiped out. (I was set 3, not the brightest spark but I was a middle ground! Even though I still had limitations.) Which I understand is to make the grounds even.. but even then the topics were STILL put into sets so it made no difference. Anyways this is my free therapy I guess - maybe it's better now, maybe it's not. But I remember running into my favourite teacher a few months after I left and her telling me she was let off because of pay, though she was one of the only ones (out of two) who actively went out their way to understand students.
