Cris Lowis Photography

Cris is an absolute gem. Couldnt recommend him enough. We loved everything about his approach and style, it suited us perfectly. It was a pleasure to have him at our wedding day and we couldnt be happier with the photos as a result. Big big thank you to Cris!

I dont know where to start. As soon as we started looking for photographers we were drawn to Cris style. The relaxed and candid atmosphere he seemed to portray was perfect. Not only is Cris talented in what he does, he is also a lovely guy. Other than over zoom, the first time we met was the morning of the wedding (thanks covid), this didnt mean we trusted him any less. There was no awkwardness, no hesitation, he jumped straight in and, in the best way stayed behind the scenes. Our photos are absolutely perfect! He has been able to capture all the happiness and love that filled our day. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease it was great. We cannot recommend Cris enough!

I cannot recommend Cris enough! From start to finish his communication has been fantastic, and the results from the day are absolutely amazing! Cris is so easy to work with, super helpful, and so so talented- I cant thank him enough for all his hard work!

I don't really know what to say other than wow! From the first phone call we had with Cris he was so relaxed and there was no pressure to book him, but he described exactly what we wanted. On the day he was incredible, constantly working away in the background to a point you almost didn't notice him. He was so patient and accommodating when our young children weren't quite playing ball. We've now received our pictures and videos and they are just unreal, he has captured so many amazing moments and they are just so natural showing people in the moment which is exactly what we wanted. Our highlights video is more than I could have ever imagined. How one man does all this work with such incredible results blows my mind. Cris is just pure talent!

We were drawn to Cris through the clear and crisp images in his portfolio. We thought they looked classic & would stand the test of time in a wedding album. Cris sent a few examples of whole alums across different settings. This made us book him & we are so glad we did! Cris was very responsive to messages throughout the count down to the wedding, which was so reassuring and greatly appreciated. His advice was always spot on. Photography was the most important element of our wedding day and we were glad we put our trust in him. On the day, both me & my mum were so impressed with how Cris handled things. The wedding morning was busy, yet he managed to set up in what was a very challenging ceremony space, all the while getting all the shots that you would want during this time. We had a few children at our wedding for it's size, so at the reception had a variety of lawn games across a field (plus alpacas and a V W camper). Cris managed to photograph ALL of this, with both myself & my new husband and the guests enjoying themselves too across the whole range of activities. Super impressive - there was a LOT going on! Cris was always upfront about having a storytelling angle to his photographs. If you want the odd 'posed' photo (bridesmaids standing together in their robes or a portrait of the bride) remind Cris of these at the time. I'm naturally anxious and forgetful when things happen in a spur of the moment (yay for being an introvert ) . We did get these shots, but if you are the same as me, let someone in your bridal party know you want a certain picture so it's not on you. Cris got some incredible, natural photographs of everyone. From us getting married in the ceremony room, to me & my mum in the camper van, Peppa the dog and guests enjoying the day. They were a joy to see. He even caught the farther of the groom enjoying the ceilidh! Overall, Cris was such a big helpto us & it was a pleasureworking with him. My mum was impressed with how efficient was at keeping everything on track. His photographs delighted everyone and they are very special to us.
