My father spent 10 days respite here in summer 2021. A dreadful experience for him and us... he came out very poorly and had lost 15% bodyweight and was nearly chair bound, his cygnet ring had also disappeared (never been off his finger).

...my mother deteriorated rapidly here and begged me to get her released which proved impossible...I would suggest anyone who has a loved one in most care homes to be vigilant as it adds to the distress ...some of the staff were nice to me and seemed ok but overall the misgivings outweighed coming away with anything positive ..though I feel the NHS were at fault ,as this home doesnt have adequate for seriously ill patients ..and our belief is she died much faster here than necessary through unlawful treatment and use of Liverpool pathway euthanasia.
