Groove Academy

Allie helped us to create the best first dance for our wedding! Our song choice wasn't very traditional but she made it work and helped us to wow our guests. Super easy going and fun person to work with, highly recommend! We loved it so much we'll be joining her regular lessons in the future.

Groove Academy is absolutely fantastic, Kate has really thought about what the customer needs and has given them exactly that with her wide range of classes from TAPFIT to ZUMBA. She is the absolute best at what she does and her passion for it is refreshing. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks Kate, Sam x

Groove Academy is not your average stuffy dance school. Kate makes dancing fun and she is creating a vibrant dance community right here in Staffordshire. 5 Stars!

I first became aware of Groove Academy after my husband enrolled our twins in a children's class and after a couple of months of taking them along, talking myself into it and our if it again, I finally made the decision to give zumba a go and absolutely loved it. I was worried I was too unfit and wouldn't keep up but Kate tailors the classes with lower and higher impact options for you to work at your own level and to push yourself further. I have since started doing TAPfit and Salsa classes as well as some dance courses and social events. From joining Groove I have not only got much fitter and stronger but went from knowing nobody in the local area to making lots of new friends in all the classes. So if you are looking to learn to dance, get fit and make new friends then Groove is the place for you.

After never having properly danced before I was somewhat apprehensive to be taken along to a Groove Academy Swing Night and thought I would look daft! How wrong was I! I was made to feel welcome and involved throughout the night with extra time being spent one on one to make sure I knew what I was doing. Our friends, who came with us, chose not to get involved with the dancing and were made to feel equally as welcome by the hosts and enjoyed listening to the live music from the comfort of their chairs. I have since been to many more of Groove Academies Party Nights and have built new friendships along the way that I am sure will continue to last. The events are good fun, lively and entertaining. Give it a go guys, dont miss out on the best dancing fun in Stafford!
