Having looked at some photos and living in Cornwall I thought I would pop in for lunch and coffee and wander around looking at the plants with a view to buy. Only about 50 plants in total there if that. AND being early Spring is no excuse go to half a dozen local garden centres they will all have plants..shrubs ect SO Garden Centre it definitely isn't. To the cafe It's tiny which is not a problem if there is only a few of you or no one else is there. Every thing is tired which again is no problem but for me it didn't feel like a relaxing environment. The table I was at was really sticky The menu sheets were well used. The cooked breakfasts looked OK but I didn't have one as I just wanted a cake and coffee. When I needed the loo it's outside and around so if it's raining you get wet. ONE positive the lady serving seemed very pleasant and looked like she was doing her best.Hence three stars I'm afraid definitely wasn't a place for me. I want plants. choice of meals and decent parking and decor Dietary restrictions: No gluten free

What a wonderful hidden gem! Superbly cooked local produce at very reasonable prices, friendly, cheerful service and a cosy table right next to the fire enjoying the view equalled perfection! We left full and happy and promising to return! Parking: About 8 parking spots alongside the Glasshouse
