Dont be late! I arrived 5 minutes late for my mothers appointment and was told that they would not be giving her an eye test. My mother is disabled and has difficult walking. On the day in question she was having a bad day and it took her longer than usual to get from the car to the opticians. The receptionist and the optician were both very rude, the optician walked away while I was still talking to her! I will not be using this branch again, or any other Boots optician, and I urge others to think twice before giving them any business. It would appear that they have abandoned customer care in favour of restrictive rules and procedures.

Shocking had one women that was amazing when my sons glasses broke rang Trafford centre sorted them. Broke again and the lady refused to sort them and said we had to go Trafford centre even though they had done it before. Went to the Trafford centre and they said they should have done them and that they were being lazy. Still no glasses for my son. Im just going to get his prescription and go vision express as had no problems there with my daughters.

Customer service was excellent, a slight but annoying issue with my glasses was resolved by the 2 ladies serving. Great selection of glasses are displayed, and based on the service received, I'll be returning in future.

What can I say. My first appt with Boots Ashton was in as in September after I noticed my eyesight had deteriorated after several weeks. I booked an appt and was told my cataracts were advanced and ready for removal and I had to book an appt with a different optician to carry on with the procedure. This appt was booked and subsequently on four consecutive appts.as there was no one available to do the appt. This was Sept. In Dec. I got an app. With Optegra who were fantastic. The follow up apptbatbBoots and next referral went as planned. The op. With Optegra was again great. Next plan was a appt with Boots for a follow up and new glasses. This was made. Guess what T. Week before appt it was again cancelled. And made for June. As hopefully agree I am furious. I am lucky that I can see, but I will never ever go to Boots again. They even suggested I could go to another G Boots branch for an earlier app.. why should I have to do this when they have messed me around . Plus my nearest branch of Boots is either Oldham or Manchester and seeing drops would be put in my eyes would give blurry vision I can just see Mee walking up market street Manchester.. No amount of sorry works. Management needs to make sure more opticians are able to do cataract referrals and not just one appt per day.I am very very disappointed with Boots Opticians and can honestly say I will never ever go to them again. Also I have contacted friends and family with my experience to pass on etc. at the end of this Boots Opticians arevRUBBISH. T There was no on Ne available
