I bought a Guitar today had a slight problem while trying to learn how to retune it. Took it back to the shop. Problem sorted ASP fantastic service. And really helpful. I would recommend buying from here any time.

Fantastic independent shop with some brilliant stock and staff really give you the details you want when buying a guitar or other instruments they stock. You can also get a nice cuppa and a butty!

Been coming here for years, Steve is always on hand for a friendly chat and catch up. I've not visited for a while due to moving away & covid etc but called in today to say hello and pick up some new strings for my acoustic guitar. I Ended up leaving with a new guitar and a huge grin on my face. (Kinda new I'ed end up treating my self) Steve always has a quality range of equipment in stock and the guitar display is just legendary . Proper quality music store. Couldn't recommend It enough !!

Customer service is exceptionally good. Attention to detail and specialist knowledge too. Ive bought second hand guitars and bass and new uke and amp and had a handful of items repaired. The proprietor Steve can fix stuff himself but also knows when a more specialist person is required and he seems to know the go to person for just about everything musical. Theres also a cafe in the shop so if you fancy a snack or a cuppa whilst youre there, thats another plus. Communications are so often lacking in service provisions with everyone seeking to want to buy stuff from Amazon or other on line suppliers who stack high and sell cheap. This is the complete opposite however yet prices are always reasonable and it feels like youre going to visit your mate who knows what hes talking about. I love this shop and the varied stock they supply, service, fix and purchase (albeit Ive never sold them anything-I want to hang on to the great instruments theyve supplied me) makes me revisit regularly. Most recently I needed a repair on an acoustic bass with a relatively short deadline for a forthcoming gig. The work was completed a day earlier than expected. Im happy to recommend them.
