Took my car for a service and mot. My car failed, I approved the work to be carried out. My car came back with a loud knock and screeching. Turns out they forgot to fully tighten the new control arm they put in.

I have used National Tyres Ashton a number of times. The last few times I have had the misfortune to have to deal with Scott, the manager, who is incredibly rude and condescending. Looking through other reviews it seems that this is a running theme. Apparently they cant check back on their system which tyres I have had fitted previously so the guarantee is irrelevant as they dont know what youve had fitted. Told me to bring my car in and then advised they dont have the tyre in stock and would have to order it in. This could have been avoided had Scott been bothered to check the tyres on their system as I had previously requested. Paid 320 for a tyre - checked online out of interest and all in price is 240 so 80 cheaper. Called to query price difference and was told it is what it is, you should have checked online first. The tyre I did have fitted was massively different in terms of air pressure so had to drive straight to petrol station to fill as couldnt face the attitude.
