Appalling behaviour by the alleged store manager who refused to give her name. As a manager you cannot refuse to give your name. Picked up an unpriced trainer, fitted perfectly, asked the price as not listed on the shelf or boxes. Was told a price. When the box was provided from the stockroom it was cheaper. Cashier queried this with the one staff who said they have to charge the price it scans not the price on the box. I disagreed as I am sure legally they cannot do this. The cashier called the store manager who said they DO NOT have to change the sticker to show the higher price which I again challenged to no avail. I accepted to buy them at the dearer price advising I'd be contacting head office (unsurprisingly no answer) and trading standards. She took the box off me and proceeded to peel the sticker off stating she can take it off sale for 24 hours and change the price. Having worked in retail I reminded her she has to change the box tag too Which she said she didn't have to do but legally but they do. I tried to get the box back to purchase the shoe she became almost hysterical and refused to sell me the trainers. Very very poor customer service. Does not reflect on the two helpful members of staff on shop floor or the till

Went to the Westwood Cross store today. Took our dog wasnt sure if we could take her in so I waited outside while my husband waited to speak to a member of staff to ask if we could bring her in. He was ignored for 5 minutes while the lad talked to his friend. In the end my husband walked away and purchased his boots . Whilst at the till he asked the young girl if we could bring dogs in she said yes if carried we then went back in carrying our dog. The lad who previously had ignored my husband was straight on us asking if it was a guide dog, we said we were told we could take her in he was extremely rude and said no. I think staff training is needed he was ignorant and rude. You are after all a sports/outdoor store maybe dogs should be allowed in. We will not be returning its a shame as its a lovely store. Maybe send in some secret shoppers to check on your staff
