A big thank you to Glebe street dental practice especially Sue Alexander for her high level of professionalism, she was able to get me an appointment as soon as possible and she was very supportive when I spoke with her. I want to also thank the Dentist I met today Miss Misra, again she was very friendly and professional, both are a credit to this practice, thank you both for your help.

I went whilst I was 4 months pregnant for a checkup. Found that I needed a filling replaced and another tooth keeping an eye on that was causing tooth ache. Anyway booked in to have my filling changed and around that time I had complications with my unborn child and it resulted in my daughter being born sleeping 5 months early. Due to confusion with hospital appointments and the dentist, I mistakingly went a day late. As you can imagine my head was all over. The attitude I got off the receptionist was appalling, I was instantly told I was blacklisted from using their dentist without even being able to explain my side of the story - that I had been in and out of hospital. Simply just blacklisted. Didnt get the name of the woman on reception but she was so rude and showed any lack of understanding. I dont know why receptionists for gp/dental surgeries think theyre bouncers for their place of work but its really embarrassing. The little bit of power gets to their heads clearly. Whereas if she would have just heard what I had to say, as to why I got the days mistaken we could have perhaps got the issue resolved, and maybe she would realise there is infact worse things going on in the world. Hope everyone elses experience is better than mine!
