        Very short opening hours, they close at 16:00 which means that on the day you return the car you cannot afford to be late, otherwise you have to pay an extra day AND a late return fee. This happened to me and was not communicated clearly beforehand. I had asked about returning the car after 4pm and was told it is no problem and I could just drop the keys in a box, which is true, but they don't tell you that they're gonna charge you an extra 60 pounds for that. Furthermore, after returning the car you also get charged a vehicle registration fee, I don't know why that only happens afterwards. We felt like the communication about the total costs was not transparent and there were lots of surprises after the return.

        Rented an electric Polestar for a long weekend. Reasonably priced and booked online. The assistant who checked me in and who did the checkout at end was superb - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
