We had a fantastic stay at paws and train. A gorgeous location, accommodation is spotless and everything you could possibility need is provided. Debbie is brilliant, she has such a wealth of knowledge! We made a lot of progress with our border terrier in such a short space of time, and Debbie followed up via email everything we had learnt so we can continue to put in the practice and progress further. Highly recommend!

What a great way to spend a weekend! This break ticked so many boxes for us. Debbie is warm & welcoming & the accommodation comfortable, spotless, in a quiet & tranquil location. We were able to go out for a dog free dinner as Debbie also dog sat for us one evening which we really appreciated. We had 3 sessions of dog training with Debbie & learned so much! She introduced several new techniques & we really loved the free work session to start, it was so interesting to watch & Beau slept soundly afterwards. Weve started putting our learning into practice & are seeing positive results already. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend & will look forward to returning again soon.

Spent 5 days with Debbie Betts, learned so much more than I expected, a wonderful experience for both myself & my selective reactive dog, Bren. Highly recommended to those wanting a qualified trainer who understands & listens also, the accommodation was luxurious

I have been working with Debbie to help with my poodle Jaspers habit of eating poo as well as helping with his reactivity to larger dogs. We had three sessions in person preceded by a comprehensive fact finding discussion on zoom. Two sessions were in Debbies garden and the last was walking from our home. After each session Debbie followed up with an email summarising everything she had taught me which is really helpful to refer back to. Debbie is warm and approachable. She understood the issues we faced and approached everything in a practical and non judgmental manner. Improvements were seen from the very first session! Debbie has shown me how my emotions affected Jaspers behaviour and demonstrated several techniques to reduce stress for both of us. I was at the point where walking with Jasper was no longer fun - it was too stressful. Since working with Debbie this has changed completely . By applying the techniques taught we are now both enjoying our walks again. Jasper no longer tries to eat every poo he sees. On most walks he doesnt eat any. Occasionally he will relapse a little -this is usually due to him being stressed- but overall he has improved so much. His reactivity has also improved. Often we can now just walk by large dogs which would definitely have caused a reaction previously. This again is due to the techniques that Debbie has taught. Although he does still have occasional relapses but overall he is becoming a happier more confident dog and I feel so much more empowered to cope with his behaviour. I would really recommend that anyone who has any training issue with their dog get in touch with Debbie. Im really glad that I did and Im sure that you will not be disappointed.

Debbie has continued to be great and supportive through the whole process. We have a reactive and very scared (of the vet) pup that has been displaying some behaviours that most likely stem from pain. Debbie has produced an excellent document for us to send to our vet where she has analysed and highlighted potential issues or things of interest. With this we are able to get our dog the help she needs armed with all the knowledge and evidence that Debbie has compiled for us.
