The Wheat Store

We have just returned from a lovely short break at the Wheat Store. In addition to other reviews regarding excellent vista's and being very spacious and well equipped we would add that it is very conveniently situated just off a main road which gives very easy access to nearby areas such as Rock, Polzeath, Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin. No travelling down a lengthy single track road each time you wish to go anywhere. The property was very comfortable and easy to keep warm. It also had constant very hot water. Plenty of space for suitcases, rucksacs, etc. In the hallway there was a dresser, great for putting down maps, shopping, 'stuff' etc. Hooks for coats and space for outdoor shoes was also in the hallway. A large grassed area specifically for the flat looked nice and sheltered with seats and washing line but unfortunately we didn't get the weather or spare time for us to make use of it. Happy to recommend.

Stayed here as an Airbnb and we had a very relaxed and comfortable time. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, and the views across to Polzeath and the sea were wonderful

Fabulous - clean,comfortable, great facilities. Beautiful self contained one bedroom apartment overlooking picturesque farmland and Plozeath.
