Staff are friendly and it's a great location. It did get a little tired around the edges up to Covid and clearly somewhat difficult to get things done over that period. Having returned in April 2023 you can see there is a lot more activity and work going on with the infrastructure etc. Im guessing this will mainly culminate for the start of the main season? Overall though its a great place to base yourselves for the area with easy access to a plethora of places to go and see. Eden for example is only 40 minutes away and Padstow 10 minutes. Whats great about the location however is the closeness to the beach, just a few minutes walk away. The beach (Harlyn Bay) is huge and the sand clean and golden; and dog friendly! The walks either way are terrific and not difficult. There are really nice places to eat and drink on the way to either Trevone or Treyarnon Bay and the scenery is spectacular.

Unfortunately we havent had much success with this company from the get-go. Weve been lucky enough to have won a holiday from the park and me and my partner have been thrilled to have won it and are throughly looking forward to our visit. However this is where the pleasantries stop. Weve called the company multiple times, emailed multiple times to be fobbed off to call back tomorrow or call back after the weekend. Its so far been a horrible experience and we find the lack of customer service atrocious especially from Bex and Reiss. Were looking forward to our trip, but at this current moment in time do not even know if its going ahead!!!! If you have an issue or need to contact the team seriously dont even bother they seem completely and utterly useless. I really hope to amend this review in the upcoming months but currently from where I stand I am utterly devastated and shattered from our experience so far.

We stayed on an electric hookup pitch over the Easter. Weve been coming here for years, and unfortunately nothing has changed. It was our first trip down since before COVID. The location is great for beaches and coast path. However, we were plagued by large groups of kids aged from about 9-teens kicking footballs and rubber bombs very close to our motorhome and other caravans. We had a couple of incidences where 2 youths were fighting on our pitch and knocking into our van. We also had several footballs hit it. When asking them to move over further away they were either rude, or carried on ignoring us. Not one of them apologised for hitting our van. After asking them nicely which went on deaf ears I had to complain to Reception. A person came up and told them to move, which they did for about 10 mins and were soon back, shouting, swearing and screaming as before. If it were just kids playing football we could have lived with it. The people next to us also complained as they were kicking balls at their dog. It seems like they have no consideration for others. The shower and toilet blocks were often a mess, the showers were really dirty so I wouldnt use them. The site itself looks very run down, although new roads have been put in for new static caravans. My husband had a fall on the speed bump which was impossible to see in the dark as theres no lighting on the roads. The first aider was very good, and came promptly to help. At least that bit was good. After visiting for 20 years the time has come to look elsewhere.
