        The chateau is very very nice.and well worth staying at.the one downside is that if your car breaks down and can't be fixed for days.then public transport from the site the chateaus is at.is pretty much none existent till you've walked to St merryn along a winding road with no.pathmount and blind bends.takes about 30 mins to walk.transport from village is ok.

        Lovely place for a holiday in Cornwall. We went during peak summer and had a great time with our two young children. Ideally located with St Merryn's shops and pubs nearby and very comfortable accommodation. The kids loved the nearby seven bays - we pretty much did a different one every day!

        Im a very harsh reviewer so 4 stars is REALLY good. Very comfortable and clean and exactly as expected, with great Wi-fi and services. A great central location for exploring Padstow and the 7 bays as well as part of the South Coast Trail. We didnt use the local bars but the shop was well stocked. Weather was rubbish but the accommodation provided a comfortable haven from the rain.
